Woohoo Friday!

This weekend, I am ready for some relaxation, football and meeting up with friends for an icy (check my instastories) event I haven’t been to before. I’ll be watching the AFC championship game (Go Pats!) from my home on Sunday and I’m already planning what new appetizers I can make from my recipe board! Here are my favorites from this week though…

Something to Grow

I came across these little planting kits this week that are great for showing kids how to grow something or as a just because gift for someone in your life. I bought the sweet pea one because I could use a pretty flower to look at during these cold winter weeks inside. I miss gardening during this season.

Outfit of the week: Nordstrom Rack Finds

I popped into Nordstrom Rack this week and it takes all my will power to leave without buying something. I found these few items that were still in stock online if you are looking for new leggings or a new piece for Valentine’s Day!

Dessert First: Seattle

I recapped where to find my favorite sweet treats from my trip to Seattle last fall. You can check out where else I’ve had #DessertFirst here.

Tracey Porter Poetic Wanderlust

How did I not know about this vibrant travel inspired brand?! I opened a candle I received from my goddaughter as a Christmas gift this week (shoutout to her mom for this lovely gift😊) and immediately fell in love with the products. I’m a huge fan of color and the kitchenware is calling to me. It reminds me of Anthropologie and I think they are the perfect pieces to use for spring and summer! Her instagram feed is just as colorful.  Has anyone heard of her before?!

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel

Ladies I can’t recommend this Amazon original series enough! I just finished it the other night with my mom. I got her hooked on it when I was watching the 3rd episode. There are a total of 8 so it won’t be one of those long series you have to work through. It’s about a housewife in 1950s New York who finds her world turned upside down and that she has a talent for something she didn’t know she wanted to pursue. It’s hilarious, heartwarming, and a little edgy coming to you from the creator of Gilmore Girls! I may be partial too because I actually had a class with Rachel Brosnahan when I was training as an actor, but she is the real deal! She just won a golden globe for her performance as well.

I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!

I absolutely loved Mrs. M and binged on it in one weekend – she absolutely deserved the awards she has received for it so far and I think it’s so cool you were in the same class as her!! Go Pats and happy weekend!

Oh, that series sounds SO GOOD! I’m pretty sure we’re going to be living with my parents for a month in between selling and buying our houses, and I think this series would be a fun one to watch with my mom during this time. Also… you’re probably so pumped that your Pats won!!!
