The air is changing and the crisp fall days are finally here in New York. I like taking it all in when I’m going from one place to another during my day. Also, I kind of like it that Friday the 13th falls in October this year. I’m not the biggest fan of scary movies, but I might tonight! I had a lot of outfit and food favorites from the week and of course travel…
Outfit of the Week
These are some of my favorite items that I wear over and over with other pieces. Unfortunately, the jeans are a few years old but I linked a few Paige options. I love me some Paige jeans! My boots and scarf are older as well. My J.crew Chambray shirt is a staple piece and same with my cross body bag! I tried to find similar products within the same brands!
Mixed Patterned Scarves
So excited to break out my fall/winter scarves this past week because it was finally cool enough to need them! Mine is from last year but I found these similar ones that I might have to buy as well lol.
I tried two new recipes from my recipes board on Pinterest!
I’ve been wanting to try Shay’s Pumpkin Sausage Bake and what a better time than pumpkin season. I have to say it was delicious and I was surprised that it didn’t taste overly pumpkin to me. I would make it again!
The second was a basic homemade Chicken Fried Cauliflower Rice recipe from Tasty Buzzfeed. I’ve said it a million times on here before, I’m obsessed with watching the tasty videos. They make it look so easy! This dinner was relatively healthy, quick and tasty so it was a win all the way around. If you need a quick dinner idea definitely save this one!
I mention Lake George on this blog a lot because it’s so close to my home town area and it always feel like a fun getaway even if it’s just for dinner. On Saturday my boyfriend and I drove up for drinks at The Sagamore and then dinner in Bolton Landing. I feel so lucky to be so close to this beautiful place!
I still can’t get over how beautiful Seattle was! I wrote my First-Timer’s Weekend Guide to Seattle this week incase you missed it. Make sure to Pin it if Seattle is in your travel future!
I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!!
