Friday Favorites 10.20.17

Happy Friday!!

I hope everyone enjoyed their week. Today’s favorites are shopping heavy because I was actually able to get to the mall this week! I’m not the biggest store browser, I do prefer online shopping and searching for the specific item I am looking for.  I don’t know if this is popular or not, but I truly can’t stand the styles out right now. I know some years are like that, but truly the bell sleeves and all the colors that are out are just not my style lol. That’s why I always look to you ladies in the blog community to share your finds! Here are my favorites from the week!

New Fall/Winter Boots

I have had a pair of Umberto Raffini boots for about 6 years that just became too worn out last winter. I loved those boots, they were so comfortable and I’ve been on the hunt lately to find a worthy replacement. Well this week I found a Naturalizer pair that fit the bill. They are on sale at Macy’s right now!  I found two other similar pairs at Nordstrom too that are on sale!

Apple Picking

I really missed this fall activity when I lived in NYC & LA after college. Growing up in Upstate New York, you are spoiled with the amazing fall scenery and abundance of delicious apples to pick from. It brings back sweet memories of going with my mom, siblings and cousins growing up. This week I was able to stop with my mom at one of our local orchards and pick some apples for an upcoming apple pie! I love that we are still making memories at the apple orchard 🙂

Outfit of the Week

This weeks outfit was easy to choose since it finally felt like time to pull out my warmer clothes. I just picked up the vest and shirt so they are still on sale!

1st Anniversary of the New MOPCO

I know there are a lot of readers out there who aren’t from upstate New York or don’t realize that I perform improv on the regular, but I’m so excited for tonight because it’s the 1 year anniversary of the new theater I currently perform at in New York called Mopco. It’s a cool and modern space where we host upwards of 70 audience members Friday & Saturday nights. If you are ever looking for a hilarious date night, come out and see us or google local improv theaters in your area!

I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!

Happy Friday girl! I love that you went apple picking with your mom! We are a plaid loving family over here and big vest wearers. Styles can be frustrating at times. I don’t mind the fun sleeves out right now but I will say after wearing them a few times and trying to eat a meal while wear bell sleeves really isn’t fun. I hope you have a great weekend!! That’s so true Sierra, eating with the bell sleeve style lol! Didn’t think about it, I’m not a big fan of extra fabric on tops. Hope you had a great weekend!

It’s so funny – everyone’s talking about apple picking… and I don’t know if an apple orchard even exists in Texas! I drove from Albany to Williamstown last week, and it was THE MOST BEAUTIFUL DRIVE EVER. The golden leaves were inspiring. I can’t believe you grew up somewhere like that!! (Jealous.)
