Hello Friday!

This week was fun considering Halloween felt like the main event. No dressing up for me this year however, I shared a quick post on how I celebrated with the little ones in my life. I’m looking forward to another relaxing weekend after my all ladies improv show tonight! Excited for some girl power on stage 🙂

Happy to have an extra hour of sleep this weekend, but I always feel a little off the week following. Now to my favorites from the week:

Wine Colored Everything/OOTW

I especially love the fall/winter for all the wine colored hues that pop up everywhere. My outfit of the week isn’t anything fashionable, but it reminded me how much I wear wine colored tops, pants, shoes and nails during these months. I’ve loved this nail color for years! I’ve rounded up some pieces I own and ones I’m loving!

Healthy Eats

You know when you look in the fridge and think gosh I have nothing to eat but really your fridge is full lol. Well the other day I wanted something quick, healthy and with a decent amount of protein to get me through lunch. I’ve made up ground turkey each week as something to have on hand for tacos, pasta, or wraps. I realized I could totally throw it into a salad though too, so that’s what I did. It was so yummy that I’ll definitely make it again!

1 cup of Italian seasoned ground turkey

2 cups of Spinach

handful of grape tomatoes

half a green pepper (chopped)

Olive Garden’s Italian dressing

Coffee and Seasons Instagram

The last three posts this week just warmed my heart. They were so cozy, it continues to be one of my favorite feeds to follow!

Oprah’s Favorite Things

Can you believe Oprah’s list of her favorite things for the holidays is already out?! I’m on a mission this year to get my shopping done earlier. However, I came across a few things I would want lol. That’s how it always goes right?!

This cold brew coffee maker is right up my iced coffee alley.

This brilliant way to suggest a pair of jeans for the ladies in your life without offending them! I love my NYDJ’s white cropped jeans.

I always love using herbs when cooking, but they never stay as fresh as I would like them to through the week. This container would help with that problem and it fits in different types of fridges!

I thought her list was pretty good this year!

Favorite Brunch

I will leave you with this delicious pumpkin harvest waffle special from one of my favorite local brunch spots: The Iron Roost. I’m still dreaming about it 🙂

I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

I must now go cook some waffles! Those look scrumptious. And I love the wine color too. My mums are even wine colored! I’m excited about time change but you’re right, it throws everything off for a few days. Have a great weekend!
