Next week is my 1 year blogging anniversary, which I’m so excited to celebrate. I can’t believe how fast this year has gone and I’m so thankful I decided to join this amazing blogging community. It has been so much fun and I love the inspiration I get from bloggers and readers each week!
So come back Monday to check out the giveaways and maybe even a few new design changes for Cupcake N Dreams.
As for my favorites this week:
Better Than Before
The past few years I’ve started the New Year off with a Gretchen Rubin book and this year it was: Better Than Before.
I enjoyed Gretchen’s research on how our personalities affect our good and bad habits. The different chapters helped me think about both sets of my own habits and how I can improve them. I’m a typical Upholder, which means I’m the same as Gretchen so that might also be why I enjoy her books so much.
I’ll all about her tips and tricks!
Rebecca Minkoff Clutch/Cross Body Bag
This Rebecca Minkoff bag is the perfect go to for when I’m traveling or for a night out. It acts as a wallet and is big enough to carry my phone plus a few other items. I also used it as my clutch for the NYE wedding I attended. I love that it can serve two purposes as a cross body bag and fancy clutch!
Pinkberry is always a favorite! I have been spoiled through my travels to pick up this treat when it’s at the airport.
However, at home to satisfy my cravings for it, I make my “mock’ Pinkberry.
Plain greek yogurt with pomegranate seeds and carob chips. Same thing right?!
Vietnamese Coffee & Coffee Dripper
So my awesome Dad has traveling adventures of his own all the time due to work. Being the sweetheart that he is means sometimes he brings home wine or coffee presents for me since he knows how much I love my drinks of choice.
He traveled to Vietnam for the first time last week and brought me back a Vietnamese coffee dripper and coffee.
Has anyone used this type of coffee maker before?! I’m sure we have a similar one here in the states but I love how it makes a single cup of coffee.
UPDATE: I found a similar one on Amazon for a great price if you are looking to try it out 🙂
The coffee wasn’t that bad either, a little strong, but pretty tasty.
I was thrilled to go on a trip to Nashville last weekend, but sad it was super quick. In case you missed my post about places to eat and things to do, you can check it out here!
Don’t forget I’ll be hosting a 1 year blogging giveaway next week, so come back and celebrate with me 🙂
I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!
