Friday Favorites 2.3.17

How did we get to another Friday already?! I’m not complaining though because I love Fridays lol

I’m so excited for this weekend because I’m in my hometown of Saratoga, NY for the annual Chowderfest and to celebrate the Patriots being in the Super Bowl. Check out my Instagram for live updates!

Park City Recap

I’m still on a high after my trip to Park City for Sundance! If you missed my recap you can check it out here.

How I Built This

I’d like to thank Biana of Blovedboston for this next favorite. She had mentioned the How I Built This podcast last week in her favorites. I downloaded a few episodes for my flight on Monday and loved them! I know I keep saying I’m so inspired, but really inspiration has been coming from all different avenues the last few weeks. So far I’ve listened to the Spanx, Drybar (love this place!), and Airbnb (also a huge fan) episodes. Highly recommend especially if anyone has a long commute!

Stranger Things

Ok who else is obsessed with this show?! I just finished it last night and ah I didn’t want it to be over. It’s only 8 episodes so I get that it wasn’t going to last that long but ugh. They just won the SAG award for best dramatic series and now I see why! I was sent the screener last month and I watched most of the episodes on my flights this past week. I don’t want to say it’s similar to the Goonies but someone else I know described it as Goonies meets a Stephen King novel. Yup pretty much. Highly recommend it!

Super Bowl Snacks

This appetizer from Buzzfeed has been a hit all season long and I can’t wait to make them again for the big game Sunday 🙂 They aren’t too spicy and are sure to be a hit with your guests!

7 Minute Scientific Workout

Does anyone else do this workout? (Non-music version here) It was a big thing a few years ago when the New York Times wrote about it. When I have no time for even 20 minute workouts I put this video on twice and go! #Noexcuses

I hope everyone has a great weekend! GO PATS!!

I’m so happy to hear that you enjoyed listening to how i made this – it really is inspirational!! Yay for our pats being in the superbowl – here’s hoping that the team pulls out a huge win for us!! I need to start watching stranger things – for some reason I’m not big into sci fi shows but everyone says its so good! xo, Biana

This is why I love this little blog community, I love finding great recommendations from others! Thank you, thank you! I don’t love sci-fi fi shows either but this one wasn’t that bad until the end with it. The humor and relationships in the show were worth it. Love our Pats, so excited for tomorrow 🙂

I’ve never been to Park City but I hear it’s great there! My hubs is watching that show but it looked a little scary to me. Have a great weekend

Totally agree with you on Stranger Things!! We just watched it a month ago (late to the party as usual!) and it wasn’t what I expected but I’m excited for the next season – even if it’s different characters! Happy Friday!!

Thank you for that podcast rec! I only listen to podcasts while I workout and won’t be sad if I find a new one. I’m not into football, but good luck to your Pats this weekend! I myself am simply looking forward to Lady Gaga’s halftime show! LOVE HER.
