We made it, it’s Friday! Here’s my jump for joy 🙂

Friday finally

New Desk Goodies

The Art of the Handwritten Note

I finally got to use my Anthropologie birthday discount this week and can you believe I didn’t use it on a single piece of clothing?! I don’t know, nothing really jumped out at me when I was in the store. However I did find the two items above and you can find the book here on Amazon!

The pens were an exciting find because I’m always joking to my family when they say “What are you doing” , my reply is usually “Places to go, People to See, Things to do” #insidejokes :-p

Brooklyn Heights, NY

Willow Street, Brooklyn     Willow Street, Brooklyn

I had a chance to walk around the Brooklyn Heights neighborhood here in New York yesterday. I’ve never really explored that area before and wow was it beautiful! The gorgeous spring weather made for a nice backdrop while taking in the architecture and views of the Hudson River. It is well known for many different historical reasons and some celebrities call it home, Truman Capote wrote part of Breakfast at Tiffany’s in a peculiar house on Willow Street. I may have to do a post on the neighborhood itself one day!

CatbirdNYC Stackable Rings

I was so excited to make my first in store visit to CatbirdNYC this week. I have been collecting their stackable rings for over two years now. If you signup with their emails they give you a birthday discount, which I finally had a time this month to get to Williamsburg, Brooklyn and use that discount in store. It’s a great shop to get a unique gift for any girl 🙂

Kristin Cavalleri’s Trail Mix Recipe

I’ve already made Kristin’s book Balancing In Heel’s a favorite but her recipe for DIY Trail Mix had to have it’s day in the sun, it’s that good! Click on the image below to get this fabulous book!

The trail mix has given me the delicious energy snack I need in the afternoon/night time. She has many recipes that I’m excited to make in the coming weeks.

Happy Friday Friends!! Link to Your Friday Favorites below so I can see what you were loving this week 🙂

I love anthropologie but rarely actually buy anything there. I touch everything though. I’m certain that I’m their least favorite customer. I would have bought those pens though!
