Happy Friday!

This week flew by and although I didn’t get as much spring cleaning as I wanted done, I still felt like I accomplished some things. I’ve been inspired by all the blog posts out there to keep going. Here are a few other favorites from the week:

My Easter was pretty low-key considering we didn’t have as much family attend as usual it seemed. However, I felt like I really took in what Easter truly means this year more than before.

She added the peeps for my aunt lol, I don’t like peeps.

I also celebrated my birthday one last time with my extended family. Usually the April birthdays celebrate at Easter time. My grandma still makes her homemade cakes and I’m so thankful for this yummy tradition 🙂

A beautiful sunset to end the day! I hope you all enjoyed your Easter 🙂

Pastel Sandals

Sista, Sista

These sandals by Naturalizer were another favorite of mine during vacation. The pastel gray/lilac color went with a few different outfits. Plus, due to a low heel and extra cushion, it’s a very comfortable sandal. They are perfect for both spring and summer too!

Cupcake Travel Diary: Atlantis/Bahamas

If you missed my travel diary about my trip to the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas, you can catch up here! I shared some tips, thoughts and pictures from my experience this time around!

I saw Gifted with my mom last night and we both loved it. It was a sweet story about a little girl and her uncle at odds with her grandmother over how she should be raised. It was a tear jerker, but it had humor through out as well. Chris Evans is never bad to look at either 😉

Pretty Little Liars

Ok it’s been 7 years and I haven’t given up on this show yet, mainly because I like to see what they are all wearing every episode lol. However, I’m excited it’s finally the end of this crazy ride and that the last 10 episodes started to air this week. Anyone still on this crazy train with me?! lol

I hope you all have a fabulous weekend 🙂

Happy Friday! I love that you took the time to focus on the true meaning of Easter. Sounds like it was a holiday well spent. 🙂 The tradition of your grandma baking your birthday cake each year is so very sweet! Loving your sandals and those vacation views too! Wishing you a wonderful weekend ahead!

My Easter was also nice I went home and visited family. I got to see a lot of my aunts and uncles and cousins I don’t normally see. Always a good time! Cute Easter cake! I used to love peeps when I was younger.
