Happy Friday!

I can’t believe it’s the first Friday of June. May went by fast and was a downer as far as the weather went. I’m hoping June gives us better days to get out and enjoy all those summer activities!

Bathing Suit Season

I especially love this time of year when all I have to worry about is what bathing suit and coverup to wear all day. I’m always excited to rock a new bathing suit and the Blush by Profile brand became a favorite last year. They have a few suits on sale during the Nordstrom Half Yearly sale!

London Calling

Queen’s House-Tulip Stairs

After stumbling upon this TheEveryGirl article, I am sad not to have a London trip on the horizon. It makes me want to do something about that and scout out all these unique places. I mean that staircase looks epic!

Social Media Break

Over the holiday weekend, Sunday and Monday, I tried not to not check or post to Twitter/Instagram/Facebook or Snapchat. I’ve come across a lot of articles lately (on my phone) about how being intentional with taking breaks from our social media can help our overall health. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not preaching that social media isn’t healthy, but I do feel better when I take breaks from it.

I’m trying to strike a balance, especially since I enjoy blogging and the connection through social media with my followers. I might try throughout the summer to pick one day on the weekend to continue my social media breaks. Unless I’m on a trip and I JUST have to show you guys something fun lol. Do you ever take intentional breaks from the internet?

Summer Sangria

Can’t wait to make this delicious recipe this weekend! It’s a go to for the season because it’s light and refreshing!

Leave a link to your favorite summer sangria recipes, I’m always on the hunt for new ones!

Have a fabulous weekend friends!

Oh, I’d love to go back to London. I only went for the first time this past September but it was so much fun! I don’t really take scheduled or planned social media breaks, but I don’t let it bother me too much if I’m not on for a bit. I do what I can. 🙂

Thanks for linking up! I read blogs but as far as other social media like FB, twitter, etc, i’m not on that much anyway. I can see where someone could really get sucked into that though!

I’ve actually only made sangria once, and that was ages ago. Love the inspiration, I’ll have to make it again! I hear you on London, I was just talking about how wanderlust is strong this time of year. Have a happy Friday!

I am constantly taking breaks from social media…. especially Facebook. Okay, so I have never had a Sangria before! I need to rectify that this summer.

Yum, that sangria looks so good! I’m with you on the social media breaks. I actually deleted my facebook and I feel SO much better without it!
