Hola! My name is Stephanie from In A Real Cool Mood. Traveling and the world in general has always inspired what I wear. This year I have found myself loving mixing prints, cute and unique bathing suits, and the perfect statement heels.

MIX PRINTS

Mixing prints (when done correctly) has become one of my favorite styles right now. Recently I ventured to Costa Rica, which I absolutely fell in love with, and got an overload of inspiration. I wanted to pack my suitcase with the colors and prints of the tropics. There are so many ways to mix prints, whether it be mixing colors (color blocking), pairing prints that have similar color schemes, or going all out with two completely different prints. It is really about your confidence and what you feel looks good.

FIND AN UNIQUE BATHING

Who says you can’t look cute at the beach? I have become obsessed with finding unique bathing suits that aren’t your typical bikini from Target, nothing against Target bikinis. Being at the beach and looking fabulous.. it doesn’t get much better than that. The fun part about bathing suits is that you can always find great pieces regardless body type, comfort level, and style preference. Cute bathing suits and tropical backgrounds…. the perfect ingredients for a great photo op.

WEAR A STATEMENT HEEL

The perfect way to dress up a simple outfit is with a great pair of statement heels. Something with a detailed print or a bright color always makes a simple outfit like a white T and boyfriend jeans that much better. Fringe and tribal inspired cut outs, of course travel inspired, have been catching my eye a lot recently. You can never have enough shoes.
Amen to that! Happy Wednesday Friends!
