Halloween 2017

Happy Wednesday Friends!

I’m am nursing a halloween candy hangover this morning, anyone with me?! Seriously, this year I just couldn’t control myself with the snickers, skittles and kit-kats lol.  So this post is going to be short and sweet as I link up with Jessi today! Can’t wait to see how everyone’s halloween went!

One of my favorite halloween activities is to carve a pumpkin. Not only for the cool decor piece, but for the yummy seeds inside.

This year I followed a recipe from Cassie at Wholefully, where she offers 6 ways to season them. I obviously went with the sweet option: cinnamon & sugar. Mmmm definitely eating them for the next few days!

In the late afternoon, I went over to my cousins to see her kids all dressed up! The twin boys were skunks and my goddaughter was a “good” witch. She doesn’t like scary witches so she told my cousin she has to be a good witch lol. She is such a sweetheart.

When she came back from trick or treating she counted each piece and started placing them one at a time on the table lol. Oh to be 3 years old again. I love being around little ones during the holidays, they just make everything so much more fun!

All weekend I’ve been watching Stranger Things with J and we are almost through it. I’m not sure how I feel about this season, the verdict is still out. It is the perfect way to end the night on Halloween though!

How was everyone’s Halloween?! See you all on Friday for some favorites!

Oh goodness, what cute little skunks! And I ended my Halloween watching Stranger Things 2 as well. I haven’t finished yet but it’s definitely not as good as the first season. <3, Pamela Sequins & Sea Breezes

OH my those are the cutest skunks I have ever seen. I didn’t get any trick or treaters so I gave my candy to my Grandmother. She has a sweet tooth like no other. She is 93 (almost 94) so she can have all the candy she wants. Surprising she does not have diabetes.

I’ve only made it through 2 episodes of Season 2 so far, and can’t wait to dive back in tonight. I’m sad we didn’t think to bake our pumpkin seeds after carving the pumpkin, so I’ll have to remember for next year!
