Happy last Friday of 2017 Friends!
This year was more than I thought it would be and I’m so thankful for all of it. If you had told last New Years Eve that I would be lucky enough to travel to so many new places in the US and meet a very special guy, I would I have said “Are you sure?!” lol.
There were so many highlights in every new spot I visited. New friends were made too. My sister got engaged. My best friend got engaged. My family took a trip to celebrate a birthday milestone for my mama.
Working at the Sundance Film Festival was an amazing start to 2017. Experincing Park City’s winter beauty for the first time made me see why my sister continues to live there!
Mardi Gras in New Orleans has been on my bucket list for a very long time and I was THRILLED to cross it off this past February with my cousins <3. You are spectacular NOLA!
Celebrating my mama at the Atlantis in the Bahamas was a memorable trip with the family. I love every second I spend with my people. I also celebrated my birthday there by getting up to see the sunrise over the beach with my mom too. These special moments are what life is all about <3.
Last minute plans can be the be the best thing for you sometimes. I learned so much about the travel blogging world and made some new friends at TBEX in Huntsville, Alabama in May! I also was able to meet Samantha Brown, who is a mentor I didn’t even know about until that event.
In 2018, I plan to volunteer more of my time towards those who need it. I was so happy to be part of this little girls celebration to go to Disney World with the Make a Wish Foundation.
Another family Rhode Island trip in the books and this time my sister got engaged!
J and I explored so many new places together this summer and fall. I had never been to Maine & New Hampshire and we had a great time exploring the beaches and breweries along the way! He also took me to his hometown of Buffalo, NY and to Niagara Falls. This guy has my heart<3
Celebrating Tom Brady’s 40th birthday at Gillette!
Explored Burlington, VT with J!
Seattle was definitely a huge highlight of the year!!
First Patriots game with this guy!!
To wrap up the year in such a festive way was so much fun! Thanks A Slice of Brooklyn!
I’m spending the weekend in Lake Placid, New York with my love and I’m just so happy to ring in 2018 with him. I look forward to what this next year will bring. Although, I already know a lot of weddings haha.
I hope you all have a healthy and happy new year and I’ll see you Tuesday in 2018 ;-)!!
And I’m forever grateful you all follow along here on Cupcake N Dreams!
