Happy Monday Friends!

Can any of my southern or western friends send some warmth my way?! I know it seems redundant to talk about the weather, but I’m really regretting not planning a warm weather trip in January lol. I’m linking up with my girl Biana today to recap my cozy and family fun weekend!

On Saturday morning, I was featured on Erica at Whimsical September’s Saturday Sit-Down series. Erica is a sweet mama of two who shares a spotlight on fun new bloggers to follow each week. I was so excited I could take part because I have found new bloggers to follow through the series myself.

The rest of Saturday morning was a cozy day inside reading this book all about being cozy lol. If you haven’t seen the word hygge all over blogs and Pinterest, it’s a Danish word means creating a way of living in comfort and contentment for your well-being. I’m definitely trying to add some of the authors points to my make my life a little cozier during these cold winter months.

My current workout regimen consists of regular Orangetheory classes and yoga videos. I like to add in quick little bursts of exercise on different days too. I pinned this quick 6 minute workout before you shower because it looked do-able lol. I’m happy to report it was!

On Saturday night, I went to dinner with 14 members of my family who were coming to see my improv show afterwards. It was my aunt’s birthday so my team brought her up on stage which was pretty fun for me to improvise off a family member!

If you are looking for a something new to reinvigorate you at work or meet new people or learn a new skill, I highly suggest looking for a local improv class in your area!

Sunday was full of football and family even though the Patriots weren’t playing.

I also picked up these three sweaters from LOFT because they are part of the hygge lifestyle. At least that’s how I’m justifying it lol.

The weekend ended with dinner at my Grandmas! It’s one of my favorite things in the world, to get together to eat at my grandparents house with my family.

Have the best week!

Dinner and an improv show with the fam sounds like so much fun! When we still lived in Connecticut, we would plan a tropical getaway for the end of January/early February to recharge and it was wonderful. I bet you could jump on a great last minute deal to the Caribbean, Mexico, or for a cruise. Time to thaw out <3

Gosh I wish it would warm up around here! Although, it did get above freezing today and I was too hot in my hat and gloves lol. I just came across Erica’s blog and started following along. She seems like such a sweetheart! Sierra~Beautifully Candid
