Happy Monday Friends!
I hope you all had fabulous weekends. I got back yesterday from my first bachelorette weekend of many this year! It was a cabin weekend in the Catskill Mountains of New York. The bride wanted a low-key celebration, champagne and flannel pretty much fits that description don’t you think?!
We all arrived at our airbnb on Friday night in Woodstock, New York. If you haven’t tired an airbnb yet you have to this year! They really are the most economical/fun when it comes to hosting big groups (get $40 off your first stay with airbnb!!). We started the party off with a wine tasting. Each girl brought a bottle of wine to share and we lined them up and worked our way from white to red. It was a great way to find new wines to love.
Next up was fondue to soak up all the wine! First cheese fondue with veggies than chocolate with fruit and wafers!
Girlfriends celebrating girlfriends!
The bridal party gifted us these adorable tees and these flannel pj pants (different color on sale!). You can’t beat old navy for flannel attire!
Mimosas with the bride ❤️
On Saturday, the group enjoyed the hot tub, played games and went on a hike. Unfortunately, I’ve been battling a cold and it got the best of me (with a little of the wine😉) on Saturday so I don’t have any pictures of those activities.
I rallied for dinner Saturday night just in time for a personal chef to arrive!
The party pack that the bridesmaids decorated with had these fun tattoos, balloons and photo props!
While we were waiting for dinner we played games and braided hair. You can’t have a girls weekend in a cabin without some hair braiding! My mama and Twist Me Pretty taught me everything I know!
The maid of honor set up the private chef to cook us dinner at the house. We had four courses, each one more delicious than the next! It was such a fun idea and great alternative to going out to dinner where someone would have to drive/take Ubers.
I don’t have info on how the MOH found this service, but I’m sure if you google private dinner party chefs in your area you could find something comparable!
Huge shout out to the bride’s maid of honor and bridal party for throwing such a great weekend full of cheese, wine and girlfriends!
Yesterday, when I got back home, J and I took a walk through the state park to take in the warmer temps. It was so refreshing after a relaxing weekend.
See you Wednesday for What’s Up Wednesday!
