Happy New Year Friends!
2016 was a great year and really flew by. I’m excited to make 2017 a great year too 🙂
I hope everyone had a great holiday season! I will recap my December Goals this week as well as put out a new travel guide.
Now for a little recap of my New Years Weekend:
For the past few years my sister and I have started a little tradition by getting each other Women’s Wit Calendars for Christmas. They are a compilation of inspiring women’s quotes on everything from love, career, happiness, religion and general life musings. I tear one off each day and only save the ones that truly speak to me. Then on one of the last days of the year I read through all the ones that I kept through out the year. It’s a nice boost of motivation to start the next year off with.
On Saturday I finished up with my last list of the 52 Lists Project. (Check out the hashtag on Instagram for inspiration) I absolutely loved this journal this past year. It was a nice way to keep track of things I like, want to accomplish and things I appreciate. I liked how it was broken down into seasons and I only had to write in list form once a week. I’m looking forward to listing in my 52 Lists for Happiness this year!
I could not wait for Saturday night!!
It was my first time attending a New Years Eve wedding and it was perfect! My best friend’s, who I’ve known since I was 8 years old, brother married an amazing girl. Their wedding was an elegant black tie affair in Saratoga, NY and it couldn’t have been more beautiful. It was so fun to see everyone dressed up and it even decided to snow during the reception, which added to the atmosphere! I wish I took more pictures of the venue but being on the dance floor took precedent over that 😉
The beautiful couple! #Ringinthebakers
Tis the season 🙂
Loved this snapchat filter haha
I had to take a picture of walking by the venue the next morning with the blue sky and snow. It was an amazing way to spend New Years Eve!
Another year of Women’s Wit!!
New Years Day was a busy one and I will be happy that the NFL will not play on Christmas and New Years next year. It’s too much when it lands on the holidays. However, I always make time to watch my Patriots and I’m happy they got the win yesterday to have home field advantage through the playoffs! #DriveForFive
My Dad’s cousin always throws a New Years Day party and since I missed it last year because I was in Paris I couldn’t wait to go this year. She decorates every room of her old farm house with Christmas tree’s and holiday decorations. I love walking around it through out the day and seeing all the beautiful details.
Today I’ll be in true New Years fashion by organizing everything thing in my life, exercising and watching the Bachelor because I feel like I have too lol.
I hope you all have a healthy and happy New Year! Here’s to 2017 🙂
