I’m participating in my first What’s Up Wednesday today and I”m so excited! I’ve been reading two of my favorite bloggers, Mix and Match Mama & Sheaffer Told Me To, posts on this link up for a long time and finally decided to join in the fun. It’s a great way to get to know different bloggers 🙂

What I’m Reminiscing About

I’ve been thinking about trips I’ve taken in the past during this time period. I can’t believe Atlantis was 2 years ago and my high school spring break in South Padre Island, Texas was 10 years ago (ahhh). Time moves too fast 🙁

What I’m Loving

My Vapur Element Water Bottle, click the pic above if you want to see the awesomeness yourself! During my extensive travels of late, this little guy has been amazing at keeping me hydrated. I have gotten so many questions about it from various people while out and about. My favorite feature is that you can roll it up into a tiny rectangle and it doesn’t take up too much room in your purse!

What I’ve Been Up Too

I’ve been hanging out with family, working in NYC, traveling and eating a lot of dessert. What else is new   😉

What I’m Dreading

The weather this weekend 🙁 🙁 It’s my birthday and since I’m staying in New York, I was praying for nice and sunny spring weather. It looks like that is not going to happen and we might even have snow (WHAT?!) That has happened once before on my birthday a long long time ago and I really don’t want to see a repeat. Come on Mother Nature, work with me here!

What I’m Working On

More Blog Posts! I’m so excited to bring more dessert and travel posts to the blog next month. I also will have a special guest blog from a certain fashionista I know. She will write about her tips for a spring wardrobe!

What I’m Excited About

My Birthday! I believe in celebrating birthdays to the fullest! I usually celebrate my “birthday week” which has pretty much turned into a “birthday month” as my family jokes. I will be doing everything and anything that makes me happy this upcoming weekend to celebrate 🙂 more pictures later!

What I’m Watching/Reading

The two books that I’m reading right now are called The Nightingale by Kristen Hannah and Jack Kennedy: Elusive Hero by Chris Matthews. Sometimes I read two at once just because I have so many I want to read. I like biographies and fiction so it’s nice to read two different genres at once. I’ll have to do a book review when I’m done.

House of Cards

I have a few shows I’m watching but HOUSE OF CARDS is my favorite right now. I LOVE me some Claire Underwood! Her poise and style is just mesmerizing.

What I’m Listening Too

James Bay- Let it Go has been on repeat lately. I truly love belting out “Let It Go” in the car because I have to do that often 😉

I’m all over the place though with Chris Stapleton, Sam Hunt, Cold War Kids, Justin Timberlake, and even Justin Bieber lately.

What I’m Wearing

Layers Stripes Trench Coat Spring Florals // SpringBuffalo Plaid Vest Stripes

Stripes, Skirts and Spring! This sums up my wardrobe feelings as of late 🙂 Spring colors, stripes and occasional warm weather outfits when we’ve gotten up into the 60s.

What I’m Doing This Weekend

I think we covered that but just in case…celebrating my birthday with friends & family.

What I’m Looking Forward To Next Month

April, my favorite month of the year! I can’t wait for warmer weather and more activities outside. I plan on taking at least one trip and checking some items off my list of new things to do.

What Else Is New

I’m learning Spanish and it’s going surprisingly well. I’ll have to elaborate on that more another day!

Happy Wednesday!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog so I could find yours! I got through a couple of chapters of The Nightingale last night and so far so good, although I can tell it’s going to be sad 🙁 Another thing we have in common is our birthday philosophy. Another year of life is always worth celebrating!! I hope you have the best time on your birthday, snow or not!
