What’s Up Wednesday-January 2017

Hi Friends, I’m excited it’s What’s Up Wednesday!

This is one of my favorite linkups, hosted by Shay!

WHAT I’M EATING THIS WEEK:

Healthy/boring stuff. I’ve been trying my best to keep on track with healthy breakfasts, like my almond butter on toast with berries,

whole wheat toast, almond butter, pomegranate, blackberries, coconut flakes, chia seeds

and taco salad lunches.

WHAT I’M REMINISCING ABOUT:

My trip to Paris last year.

WHAT I’M LOVING:

Yoga! I’ve finally gotten into a rhythm with Yoga by Candace. I use to dread when friends would ask if I wanted to go to a yoga class. I also couldn’t find any online yogi’s that I liked to follow until I found hers! I realized that I can only stick with gentle yoga, the kind where it’s more about stretching and connecting with your body.

WHAT I’VE BEEN UP TO:

Unfortunately, last week was a tough week after my aunt passed away unexpectedly. She was a beautiful person inside and out. My family is a very tight knit group and together we will keep her memory alive 🙂

WHAT I’M DREADING:

I can’t say there is anything I am dreading right now, which I will take due to last week!

WHAT I’M WORKING ON:

I’m working on decluttering all my different spaces this month. My house, my car, my bathroom cabinets-every inch. I have been following decluttering schedules I found on Pinterest that break it down so it’s not so overwhelming.

WHAT I’M EXCITED ABOUT:

The Super Bowl!! I know as a fan of the New England Patriots for the last 20+ years, I’ve been lucky. Yet every time feels just as exciting as the last. Watching and rooting for this team really does make me happy 🙂 I appreciate that it brings my whole family together.

WHAT I’M WATCHING/READING:

I really enjoyed the Boston Girl because it centered around one of my favorite cities in the world and because it showcased what women had to go through during the earlier part of the 20th century. It made me appreciative for the opportunities I have today.

I am starting Gretchen Rubin’s Better Than Before so I’ll have to report back next month!

Also, I just started Stranger Things since I’m in SAG-AFTRA and it was sent to me for awards season. I have to admit I have been pulled into the craziness!

WHAT I’M LISTENING TO:

I guess I’m on a girl power country kick because I’ve been listening to Miranda Lambert’s new album over and over again. I’ve also been listening to Maren Morris. I love their voices and lyrics!

 WHAT I’M WEARING:

I tried to document outfits this month but this is as far as I got. #Theresalwaysnextmonth

My everyday uniform this month includes a sweater, boots and a kendra necklace 😉

Ready for the snow!

Finally tried white on white in the winter and I’m a big fan!

Comfy sweater with gingham

WHAT I’M DOING THIS WEEKEND:

Getting some skiing in and continuing the fun at the Sundance Film Festival.

WHAT I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT MONTH:

Heading south! Since, I’m currently enjoying a winter trip, I had to balance my travel with a few southern ones. I’m really excited to be in New Orleans for Mardi Gras next month 🙂

WHAT ELSE IS NEW:

Nothing else just trying to take everything one day at a time 🙂

Bonus Question: Who Is Your Favorite Bachelor?

Well since this is Shay’s linkup, I would say Sean Lowe, who’s season I did like watching. However Ben Higgins has been my favorite Bachelor hands down. I felt like he was the first one I really really wanted to meet myself haha. #OhWell I can’t wait to read everyone’s answers!

I hope everyone is enjoying their week! For more Park City and Sundance adventures this week, follow me on Instagram!

So sorry for the loss of your aunt. I’ve been searching for a good YouTube Yoga channel, I’ll have to try Candace’s. I’ve mostly been watching Yoga with Adriene which I like, but don’t love. Sounds like you have lots of fun trips planned over the next little while!
