Today is What’s Up Wednesday and I’m back from Nashville, a place that definitely knows how to show you a good time!

I will be back with Friday Favorites on Friday and then my post about Nashville Monday!

What I’m Eating This Week

whole wheat toast, almond butter, pomegranate, blackberries, coconut flakes, chia seeds

I could go on and on about all the BBQ I just ate this weekend while down south but since today is the first day of getting back to a normal eating schedule and detoxing, I’m eating lots of fruits, veggies and whole grains. Boring I know, however I was thrilled to be passing through BWI on my way to and from Nashville so that I could eat my beloved Pinkberry!! #Happiness

What I’m Reminiscing About

Childhood family trips! Since this month has been full of family trips it’s had me thinking back to the ones I took way back when to Rhode Island and Florida. My how the dynamics change when the children become adults haha. I think my parents wish they had their little ones back sometimes, but I’m still thankful for any trip I get to take with my immediate family.  I’m pretty sure this trip to Nashville might have been the last one as just a family of 5, my parents and siblings. :-/ 🙂

What I’m Loving

Summer time!! Seriously I just love taking in these few months and really spending as much time as I can outside. Pool time, Lake time, beach time with crisp white wine and margaritas, sundresses and summer concerts, soft ice cream and jean shorts, I love it all. #PleaseDon’tEnd

What I’ve Been Up Too

Traveling 🙂 and I’ll also say organizing. When I was packing for this last trip I realized, although I’ve made progress, I really need to get rid of more stuff. That way I can easily find the items I keep!

What I’m Dreading

I feel like a lot of us will have the same answer to this one: Summer ending.

What I’m Working On

Blogging and my career as an actor in voiceover and TV!

What I’m Excited About

Saratoga New York Racetrack

Track season! In my hometown area of Saratoga, NY every summer for 6 weeks the Saratoga Race Course is the place to be. I’m excited to schedule in some track days, especially with college friends I have visiting next month. I love to pick horses based on their names and hope I win on an exacta or trifecta. I also love dressing up and seeing what everyone else is wearing too! I love this historical part of my hometown area 🙂

What I’m Watching/Reading

This. The Bachelorette

and it’s hard to watch because I feel like Jojo isn’t going to end up with the happily ever after that she wants but hopefully I’m wrong! #TeamChase

I can’t believe the finale is next week and I’ll be sad to not get outfit and hair inspiration each Monday night haha 😉

I finished Emily’s book which was kind of interesting to read while watching The Bachelorette. The insight to her decisions on her seasons was very interesting. I’m so happy for her that she has found an amazing man and expanded her family. It was an uplifting read!

I’m also in the middle of The Rumor by Elin Hildebrand. The blogging community definitely lead me to her last summer and I’ve enjoyed reading her books during the summer season. I also loved reading Winter Street during Christmas time. She captures the mood of the seasons with her words really well.

What I’m Listening too

The Lumineers

I’ve been listening to The Lumineer’s because I’m so excited for their concert this weekend 🙂 I also listen to Zac Brown Band , Miranda Lambert and Sam Hunt all weekend to put me in the Nashville mood!

What I’m Wearing

Nashville outfit

Mostly dresses to get through the unbearable heat in Nashville, off the shoulder tops and jean shorts, but I’ve also been wearing different colors of my beloved J.Crew Chino Shorts. Ralph Lauren Beach cover-ups. Then there is my go-to summer shoe: Hello Birkenstock’s!

What I’m Doing This Weekend

The Racetrack, The Lumineers and my god daughter’s 2nd birthday party 🙂

What I’m Looking Forward Too Next Month

My study abroad college friends are coming to visit 🙂 They have never been to upstate New York before and I’m so excited to show them what we have to offer, especially in the month of August!

What Else Is New…

Kind of random but my tomatoes I planted last month are going strong and I’m so proud because I killed the cilantro I planted with it. #fail #Workingonmygardeningskills
