What’s Up Wednesday September 2017

It’s that time again, What’s up Wednesday, where we chat about everything going on in our lives! Can’t wait to read through everyone’s while I’m on the plane to Seattle this morning 🙂

WHAT I’M EATING THIS WEEK:

Tasty/Buzzfeed meals! I seriously can never watch these videos enough on Instagram. This chicken pesto bake was super easy and delicious, boyfriend approved too 😉

WHAT I’M REMINISCING ABOUT:

When I sat next to a backstreet boy, scratch that, my favorite backstreet boy on a plane last year. ahhhh

WHAT I’M LOVING:

Apple cider donuts.  Maybe a little too much!

WHAT I’VE BEEN UP TO:

Soaking up this 80 degree weather in September! It’s been an extra month of summer around here!

WHAT I’M DREADING:

My red eye on Saturday night lol. Weirdly enough, I took a red-eye on the exact same night last year from San Diego back to New York. I like sleeping in my bed, not on planes for 3 hours at a time 🙁

WHAT I’M WORKING ON:

More weekend guides! I refuse to give up traveling even with a busy schedule so I’m focusing on exploring this beautiful country of ours on the weekends!

WHAT I’M EXCITED ABOUT:

Apple picking, orchards and Fall foliage hikes! I have plans to keep up with what I did last year to get out and enjoy the fall season!

WHAT I’M WATCHING/READING:

Lots of football, but honestly due to the late summer weather all month, I’ve been spending extra time outside soaking it up. I’ll have a book review next month! I’m still on track to finish my goal of at least 12 books a year. Also book lovers, stay tuned for a post about my 5 favorites books coming soon!

WHAT I’M LISTENING TO:

Podcasts! NPR has had a few favorites lately. Hidden Brain and a long time favorite: How I Built This.

 WHAT I’M WEARING:

I’ve really been wearing a lot of summer clothes due to the high temps in the Northeast but occasionally I’ve broken out a few early fall pieces!

WHAT I’M DOING THIS WEEKEND:

After posting this morning, I’m on my way to Seattle for the weekend! Check out my instastories for my first trip to the Pacific Northwest and my 35th state!! I’m so excited 🙂

WHAT I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT MONTH:

Halloween! I do enjoy seeing everyone dress up and a scary movie or two. I’ll miss Pretty Little Liars and how they use to have a Halloween episode though :-/

WHAT ELSE IS NEW:

I was able to experience a gorgeous day in Burlington, Vermont over the weekend and I can’t wait to bring you my travel guide for: 24 hrs in Burlington, Vermont next week!

Bonus: WHAT TV SHOW ARE YOU MOST EXCITED ABOUT THIS FALL?

I missed the This is Us train last year and want to catch up. I’m also so excited for season 2 of Stranger Things next month!!

Hope everyone has a fabulous day!

Ooh meeting a Backstreet Boy would have been awesome. I’m ready for the fall weather to come back so I can start busting out more fall clothes. I also love all things Halloween!
